Are you seeking quiet morning tours and hidden backcountry zones? The Rossignol Seek 7 is exceptionally light and takes design elements from the classic 7 series, which makes it a great choice for those looking for an alpine touring ski. It excels at both the ascents and descents thanks to the light weight achieved by its Dualtec core and Rossignol's famous Air Tip. The Seek 7 has an 86 mm waist width, which isn't as wide as the rest of the 7 Series freeride skis, but still gives you enough float to take it into some pretty deep snow. It's not a full on powder touring ski, but on the contrary it's extremely nimble. When there's not super deep snow you really don't want to be touring on a massive powder ski as it gets deflected and doesn't track nearly as well as a narrower ski in choppy, variable terrain. This is where a ski like the Seek 7 really shines, it's super light and easy to maneuver both going uphill and down, yet it has enough stability and torsional stiffness to provide a fun ride back down. We love that Rossingol has included their now somewhat signature early tapered Air Tip 2.0, which has new reinforcements compared to the old version.
